The National Early Educator Training Center (NEETC) is the hub of our national early childhood education work. NEETC launched in 2018 and aims to ensure that all early childhood education professionals feel engaged and empowered in their profession; are respected and well compensated; and have access to educator-centered professional development and training. The NEETC does this by bringing together early educators to design and facilitate worker-centered, relationship-based, and accessible education and training programs.
In partnership with the Department of Human Services in RI and the Department of Early Education in MA, ESF manages child care labor management training funds.
Our work is guided by 3 Goals
Partnerships
Our first goal is to identify and address training gaps by building partnerships with ECE training providers and higher education and creating replicable and sustainable training models.
Advancement
We strive to support ECE professionals in satisfying increasing regulatory requirements, advancing along an ECE career pathway, and improving child outcomes in early care and education settings.
Leadership
Finally, we seek to grow leaders and build collective strength —the goal being to better advocate for: improved wages, better working conditions, and greater professional recognition.
